With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Linn Yates (Springfield, Missouri), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David Linn left this world on January 8, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Yates and Jane Yates; and his brother John Yates. He is survived by: his wife Linda Solheim; his caregiver Linda; his daughter Kristen Yates-Booth (Travis); his granddaughter Madeline Booth; his sister-in-law Ginny Yates; his niece Teri Yates (Andy Christiansen); his nephew Toby Yates; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaxon, Brady and Sydney. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. (2001 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, MO 65807).
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to donate to Honor Flight of the Ozarks or C.A.R.E. animal shelter in Springfield.
