With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David B. Drake (Springfield, Missouri), who passed away on October 7, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Drake and Helen Drake (Ziese); his former wife Elsie Preston; his siblings, Daniel Haddon Drake, John Frederick Drake, Esther Helene Drake Oclassen and Elizabeth Faith Drake Peterson; and his grandson Nathaniel Deniz.
He is survived by: his son William Allen Drake (Lori); his wife Sandra Drake; his son Fred Drake (Pamela); his grandchildren, Aaron Daniel Drake (Carol), Sarah Elizabeth Drake, Rachel Meredith Drake Nipper (Bradley), Christy Marie Drake Walker (Darcy) and Adam David Drake (Jaclyn); and his great grandchildren, Brielle, Kaelyn, Jackson, Emerson, Emma, Hailey, Beckham and Addison Grace.
