He is survived by: his wife Patricia D.; his sister-in-law Carolyn Harnagel Kwentus; his daughters, Cheryl (Harstick), Amy (Harstick) and Kristin (Harstick); his stepsons, Scott Sample (Lan Sample), Mark Sample (Christine Sample) and Travis Sample (Adriana Sample); his grandchildren, Christian Ruhr (Autumn), Mark Ruhr (Clair), Daniel Ruhr (Samantha Widmann), Elizabeth Schrader James Schrader (Kyle Rolfes), Sarah Schrader, Andrew Jacobsmeyer, Henry Jacobsmeyer, Sydney Heydt, Henry Heydt, Jack Heydt (Kimberly), Jackie Nguyen (Tanner), Jennifer Sample, Alyssa (Sample), Hawkins (Justin), Jessica Sample, Stephen Sample, Isabella Sample and Jonas Sample; his great grandchildren, Asher Anthony Ruhr and Rowyn Amelia Hawkins; and his nieces and nephews, Susanne (Kwentus), Voss (Keith), Karen Kwentus, Denise Davila (Smith) and Jeff Smith (Twila). He is also survived by numerous other in-laws, cousins, nieces/nephews and friends.
The family asks for no flowers but in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to American Cancer Society in Chris' name.
