He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Knox); his daughter Tina Mottl; his grandchildren, Quinn, Noah, Zen, D. J. Mottl, Shauna (Smith) and Olivia Mottl; his brother Tom (Maggie Lawson); and also Isabella Mottl. He is also survived by nephews, cousins, and friends.
