We bid farewell to Barbara Jean Smith of Springfield, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 27, 2024 at the age of 80. Barbara Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Keller Smith and Maggie Smith (Cowan); and her siblings, Amos Smith, Verl Smith, Ethel Smith and Elvah Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Smith. She is also survived by seven nieces; two nephews; and a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dadeville Masonic Cemetery.
