She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Brookshire and Delpha Brookshire (Cross); her former husband Kenneth Charles Slone; her daughter Donna Cozort; and her grandson Chuck Moore.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley Moore (Jim), Joyce Jarvis (Tim), Cathy Slone, Steve Slone, Mark Slone and Sherry Jo Brower; her grandchildren, Jesse, Jennifer, Sarah, Erika, Dylan, Lindsay and Madison; and her brothers, Fred Brookshire and Ted Brookshire. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
