He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Benjamin Burk and Mildred Roberts Burk; his grandparents, Trapper, Ethel Roberts, Lawrence and Cora Burk; his sister Wilma Stults; his brother-in-law Kenneth Stults; his brother Gary Burk; his stepson Tyler Alexander; his daughter-in-law Shelley Alexander; his granddaughter Kristy Burk; and his son-in-law Bob Massengale.
He is survived by: his significant other Vicki Burk; his daughter Kathy (Dennis Moore); his stepson Jeff Alexander (Springfield); his uncle Bob Burk; his grandchildren, Natasha (Scott Hankins) and Keshia (Cody Klosky); and his great grandchildren, Cole Aton, Bo Aton, Maddie Alexander, Emma Alexander, Mason Kimber and Dalton Klosky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has request that donations be sent to Seasons Hospice in Springfield Missouri.
