She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Hamilton and Inez Hamilton (Bain); and her siblings, Tom (Veda), Barney (Marilyn), Kenneth, Bob (Janette), Rosemary Cudney (Marvin), Deleta Johnson (Clarence) and Nadine Elliott (Harold).
She is survived by: her husband Boyd Torrey; her children, Jay Torrey (LuAnne) of Centerville, IA and Brenda Hooker (Mike) of Trenton; her sister Joann Brodie (Jim) of Trenton; her brother-in-law Bob Torrey (Clio) of Overland Park, KS; her grandchildren, Ryan Torrey (Mindy) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jerod Torrey (Rachel) of Des Moines, IA, Sarah Torrey (Omar) of Des Moines, IA, Kevin Wyatt (Sarah) of Spickard and Kelby Wyatt (Lacey) of Kearney, MO; and her great grandchildren, Berkley Colleen Bond, Quincey Rae Bond, Monroe Jay Torrey, Elliana Grace Torrey, Addison Grace Wyatt, Carter Edwin Wyatt, Weston Lane Wyatt, Kamden Jo Wyatt, Isla Mae Jordan and Everly Rose Jordan.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (310 N Hwy 65, Trenton, MO 64683). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Hamilton Cemetery and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
