With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Jones of Sparta, Missouri, born in Garrison, Missouri, who passed away on December 5, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Jones and Opal Jones (Stevens); his daughter Patricia; his siblings, Harold Jones, Ron Jones, Norma Dean Davis, Juanita (Roy Maggard), Phyllis Knight, Jewell (Charles Lee) and Faye (Don Walker); and his brother-in-law George Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Nona Jones of Sparta; his son Rick Jones (Crystal) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Nicole Humble (Andy) and Tyler Jones (Kaycey) of Sparta; his great grandchildren, Addison, Ella Humble, Waylon, Nolan, Sutton and Lawson Jones; and his sisters, Shirley Jones, Linda and Jerry Rozell.
Memorial donations may be made in Russell's memory to Sparta First Baptist Church.
