He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon P. DeWitt and Naomi M. DeWitt. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth DeWitt; his son Christopher DeWitt (Sarah); his adoptive son Michael DeWitt; his stepchildren, Elton Glover (Jennifer) and Bonnie Thomas (Kent); and his siblings, Jeanne Mathis and John DeWitt. He is also survived by Nana were blessed with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
