She was predeceased by: her parents, John Short and Bertha Short; her husband George Simpson of Sparta; and her son Mike. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Simpson of Nixa, Kathy Simpson, Barbara Brown-Johnson (Ed) of Springfield and Paul Simpson (Brenda) of Springfield; her daughter-in-law Sandra Simpson of Sparta; her grandchildren, Shawnna Thompson, Debi Brose, Krysten Nicole, Leslie Smith, Angela Dorrough-Adamson, Matthew Simpson, Dani Simpson, David Simpson and Cody Hedgepath; and her great grandchildren, Madalyn Faucett, Vanessa Burns, Colin, Abby Joiner, Annemarie, Cole, Micah Smith, Seamus, Apple, Quinn Early, Hayden and Oliver Simpson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Fair Haven Children's Home, or the Alzheimer Association-Greater MO Chapter.
