James Edward Phillips Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Phillips of Sparta, Missouri, born in Camp Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lowell Phillips and Lina Phillips; his wife Catherine Phillips (Moore); his children, Edward Phillips (Wilma) of Battlefield, MO, Mark Phillips of Portland, OR and Anita Ballinger (Tim) of Fair Grove, MO; his granddaughters, Tiffany, Emily and Alycia; his niece Kim Moore; and his pet Max. He was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in honor of James to the Alzheimer's Association of Springfield, Missouri.
