He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Wimmer DiazGranados; his daughter Cathy Jean DiazGranados; and his brother Carlos Diazgranados Steinmetz. He is survived by: his sisters, Rosilda DiazGranados Steinmetz (Garcia) of Miami and Flora Nancy Diazgranados Steinmetz (De Perez) of Colombia; and his nephew Carlos Garcia (Tess Rouintree I) of Miami. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
