He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl McCarty and Nannie McCarty; his daughter Tammie Donahoo; and his son-in-law Dusty Donahoo. He is survived by: his wife Betty McCarty; and his children, Debbie Rogers (Marc) of Texas, Babbi Coffer (Mark) of Sparta and Don "Opie" McCarty (Debbie Farr) of Springfield. He is also survived by daughter; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
