He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Herd (Brown) and Quimby Herd. He is survived by: his son Tommy Herd of Bois D'Ark, Missouri; his grandchildren, Courtney and Garrett Herd; and his brother Billy Joe Herd (Jamey) of Dogwood, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
