He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Ladd and Lula Ladd (Johns); his sister Shirley Brown; and his great-niece Gina Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughter Amye Johnson (Daniel); his granddaughters, Allye and Bailye; his nieces, Sherry Phillips, Tammy O'Brien (Donnie) and Kristy Parker (Melvin); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Angie Cowles, Cody Phillips, Dustin Brown and Kortney Parker. He is also survived by four great-great-nieces.
