He was predeceased by: his son Willard Richard; his former wife Doris Williams; his granddaughter Kim Moorman; and his brothers, Oren, Frank and Fred Williams.

He is survived by: his former wife Doris Hatfield; his wife Alice Williams; his children, Mary Payne (Randall) of Fayetteville, Jenny Dunkle (Rob) of Joplin, Teresa Moorman (Ivan Shouse) of Bentonville, David Cooley (Laura) of Windsor and Joe Cooley (Starla) of Columbia, Missouri; and his stepchildren, Sonja Ecton (Bob) of Barnhart and John Whitney of Potosi, Missouri. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are being directed to Shriners Hospital for Children or the Southwest City Cemetery Care Fund c/o the funeral home.
