He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel G. Hughes and Marie V. Johnson Hughes; his parents-in-law, Homer and Myrtle Allison Batten; his brother Johnson; his sister-in-law Betty Hughes; his sister Sue; his brother-in-law Roy Carter; his brothers, Richard (Evelyn Shaw), Harold (Vesta Brake), Wesley (Dorthy Batten), Howard Suttee, Don (Louanna Sarver), James (Marjorie Batten) and John Batten; and his niece Linda Hughes Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Leta Nadine Batten; his daughter Linda; his sister-in-law Marilyn Batten of Overland Park, Kansas; his daughter Marcia Rader (Randy) of Butler, MO; his son-in-law David Andrews of Branson; his grandchildren, Eric Andrews (Brooke) of Benton, Arkansas, Kristen Diehl (Trent) of Butler, MO, Kellie Davidson (Michael) of Butler, MO and Colby Andrews (Heather) of Mesa, Arizona; and his great grandchildren, Tanner Diehl, Mason Diehl, Dylan Davidson, Lucas Davidson, Cooper Andrews, Camden Davidson, Gavin Andrews and Karsyn Davidson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
