It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steve Wade of Smithville, Missouri, who passed away on July 7, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Dwight Wade and Betty McLaughlin Wade (Wuttke); and his brothers, John Arthur Wade and Larry Dwight Wade. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Wade; his children, Kari McKinney, Erik Wade and Jacob Wade (Miranda); and his grandchildren, Keenan, Isabella, Lexi and Riley. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

“Lisa, Dannie Summers here. I just found out today (7 -14) that Steven Lee had passed. I am so sad for this loss to everyone. Upon learning of this, after my initial disbelief then my memories went to our past escapades, recalling so many of those good times that we had way back then. My words can not, in any way, express the loss you and your family are experiencing. I can only tell you that he was a good man and I am sure glad that I got to spend some time growing up with and knowing him.”
