He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Selby and Cleta Evelyn Callahan (Suiter); and his son Michael L. Godfrey. He is survived by: his spouse Connie Anne Matthews; his children, Johnny Godfrey (Shari), Kelly Peterson (Jeff), John Ramirez and David Schrage; his grandchildren, Summer, Sharon, Seth, Sean, Amanda, John and Daphne; and his siblings, Russell Callahan (Helen), Selby Callahan (Joyce), James Callahan, Marna Patterson and Melva Ashlock (Gary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
