He is survived by: his wives, Geneva Ann Blair and Ethel Mae Long Garrett; his children, John Michael Garrett, Steven Garrett (Lynn), Mark Garrett (Luisa) and Cherie Murphy (Lee); his brother David Garrett; his great grandchildren, Delaney, Hazekiah, Harper, Azryel, Wyatt, Zaylin, Elijah, Micah, Andrew and Adriana; and also Douglas Long (Modessa).
