It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise Summa of Smithville, Missouri, born in Gentry, Missouri, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin McGinley and Ida Jones McGinley; her husband Donald Lewis Summa; her brother Hobart McGinley; and her son-in-law Doyle Sager.
She is survived by: her children, Gareth Summa (Tammy) of Denver, MO, Janet Sager of Liberty, MO and David Summa (Robin) of Smithville, MO; and her brother Merlin McGinley of Albany, MO.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Due to the pandemic, the family requests that those attending the indoor visitation wear a mask and practice social distancing.
The family requests no flowers. Instead, memorial contributions may be made to the Show-Me Christian Youth Home in care of Roberson Polley Chapel, 403 N Hundley, Albany, MO, 64402.
