Linda Rule Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Linda Rule of Smithville, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 76, on January 4, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Estil and Sylvia Veronica; her husband Jimmy; her siblings, John Wilhoit, Harry Wilhoit, Elmer Wilhoit, Anne Aker, Mary Quinn and Shirley Snow; her daughter-in-law Amanda Rule; and her great grandchildren, Hope and Zane Evans.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Rule (Alissa Batliner) and Roni Baca (Eric Ferry); her son-in-law Carlos Baca; her grandchildren, Bryce, Chris, Emilie, Marissa, Jeni, Cole, Jordyn, Lexi, Drey and Lili-Auna; and her pet Papi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives, many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (104 Church St, Smithville, MO 64089). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
