It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Esther Gates of Smithville, Missouri, born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Palm and Alice Palm; and her brother Gerald Palm. She is survived by: her children, Renee Harris and Gregory Gates (April); her grandchildren, Zacharia, Jacob, Shadd, Ryan, Carmen, Frankie, Gabriel, Sebastian and Gillian; her great grandchildren, Cole, Perrin and Finn; her daughter Cheryl Gates; and her sister Tess D'Arco.
