We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2022, at the age of 90, Joyce Halferty of Smithville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Abijah Nixon and Helen C. Ecton (Jackson); her husband Frank; and her sister Jane Jones. She is survived by: her former husband Herschel Franklin Halferty; and her children, Paula Belcher, Michael Halferty (Janet), Patrick Halferty (Janie), Jennifer Holdsworth (Clyde) and Daniel Halferty. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
