She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Perkins and Clara Evalena Perkins (Wisler); her spouse Charlie Nichols; her siblings, Nora Cascone, Bud Perkins and Charlie Perkins; and her son-in-law Larry Leslie.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Britt (Kenneth), Jeanette Leslie, Dwight Schroeder (Linda), Jeanne Epperson, Carl Schroeder (Mary), Jerri Schroeder, Jennifer Chambers (Robbie), Jill Schroeder and Jesse Schroeder. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, fourteen great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
