He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edwards and Mary Edwards (Cockriel); his wife Martha Howard; his grandparents, Jesse and Myrta Edwards; and his sons, William "Billy" Edwards and David Edwards.
He is survived by: his son Leslie Edwards (Barbara); his grandchildren, Tanya Faherty (Shane), Aaron Edwards, Rick Edwards, Jennifer Wade (Brad), Jessica Foster (Jerad), Jon Edwards (Evie) and Joe Edwards; his great grandchildren, Seth Faherty, Hannah Duncan (Taylor), Jessie Edwards, Mirah, Pierce Wade, Lincoln, Nora Foster, Noah and Margaret Edwards; his great great grandchild Evelyn Duncan; and his sisters-in-law, Patty Baker (Gus) and Marilyn Mosby (Ernest). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
