With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ginger Lawrence in Smithville, Missouri, born in Harrisonville, Missouri, who passed away on January 21, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommie Yazel and Gussie Yazel (Johnson); her brother Gary Yazel; and her former husband John Lawrence. She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Halas (Bob), Vanessa Lawrence, Kelly Shanks and Kami Hunter (Russ); her grandchildren, Brian Simmons (McKenzie), Tyler Simmons, Matt Halas (Marissa), Sydney Halas and Kristal Hunter (Deandre Ramos); her great grandchildren, Mason, Penelope Simmons, Sophia Hunter, Jenny and James Halas; and her sister Karen Sue Watt (Bill). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or to the YMCA's Our Cause: Feeding Hungry Kids.
