He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Osborne and Rachael Osborne (Hite); his wife Charlene Castle; his grandson Chad Osborne; and his great grandchild Jeff Hagberg.

He is survived by: his son Lynn Osborne (Shirley); his grandchildren, Tom Osborne (Susan), Kimberly Darnell (Steve), Sharon LaFever, Anita LaFever and Larry LaFever; and his sister Lucy Zimmerman. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
