We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2021, at the age of 80, Gary D. Murphy of Smithville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Lester and Lora Dean Murphy (Taylor); and his sister Donna O'Connor. He is survived by: his wife Connie Murphy; his sons, Todd Murphy (Jane) and Rodney Murphy (Jamie); his grandchildren, Randy Murphy and Rylee Murphy; his great grandchildren, Easton and Zahir "Little"; and his siblings, Betty Staton, Dwaine Murphy and Perry Murphy (Barbara). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
