It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances Porter of Smithville, Missouri, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Cook and Helen E. Cook (Thomas); her former husband Carl E. Porter; her husband Herman Ford; and her brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Cook.
She is survived by: her son Ronald J. Ford (Jan); her grandchildren, Michelle Carmichael (Jeff) and Andrea Fraser; and her great grandchildren, Kaylea Carmichael, Madisyn Carmichael and Georgia Fraser. She is also survived by other relatives and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (104 Church St, Smithville, MO 64089).
