She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Willard David Payton, Jr.; her husband Herbert L. Blackwell; her sons, David Blackwell of Smithville and Aaron Blackwell of Smithville; her grandsons, Nicholas, Garrett and Malik; her mother Nina Norris Payton; and her sister Charlotte Payton-Newell. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
