It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Gene Turner (Smithville, Missouri), who passed away on April 25, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Esther Hadley and John Turner. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Turner; his children, Lurinda Gilliland (Joe), Bennie Turner, II, Jossie Fisher, Barry Turner (Nicole) and Braden Turner (Tarah); his grandchildren, Meghann Figg, Logan Gilliland, Erin Gilliland, Zoie Sears, Keegan Sterling, Reese Turner, Brooks "Bubba" Turner, Braden Cole Turner, Addison Turner and Austin Turner; his sister Georgia Plum; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Sherwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Monday April 30th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower, MO Donations may be made in his memory c/o Arlene Turner to benefit the furthering of education for nurses at the Gower Convalescent Center.
