He was predeceased by: his mother Grace L. Dillee; his wife Joanne Kathleen; and his brother Scotty Morton. He is survived by: his father Teddy L. Morton, Sr.; his children, Terri Morton (John) of Loveland, CO and Michael Morton (Angela) of Smithton, MO; and his siblings, Diane Hansen (Robert) of Independence, MO and Bobby Morton (Beatrice) of Independence, MO.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Smithton Cemetery Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
