It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. May of Smithton, Missouri, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Thomas and Carrie Ellen May (Cook); and his granddaughter Sarah Marie May. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Lynn Burnett; his children, Jana May of California and Justin May (Michelle) of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Abram, Elsie and Adler; his siblings, Linda Dennis (Hugo) of Sedalia and Ernest R. May (Vicki) of Sedalia; and his nephews, Sam Burnett, Jacob Bailey, Jeremiah Bailey, Michael McClain, Jason McClain and Bryan McClain.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Bothwell Regional Health Center Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
