He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lee Southard and Rachael Mae Southard (Plumb); his wife Juanita Southard; and his siblings, Alice Irene Southard, Mary Francis Southard, Georgia Mae Southard, Caroline Martineau, Lester Southard and Joe Richard Southard.
He is survived by: his children, Vanita Dean Southard of Smithton and Paul Dean Southard, Jr. (Jennifer) of Smithton; his grandchildren, Tami Sprinkle (Wesley), Dustin Southard (Jessica), Jonathan Southard (Kaytee) and Morgan Aubrey (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Madisyn Sprinkle, Cierra Sprinkle, Brooklyn Southard, Bailey Southard, Kimberlynn Southard, Natalie Howard, Gavin Howard, Bryson Aubrey and Kasen Aubrey; and his siblings, Rosalea Provencher of Warwick, RI, Nancy Allen of Spokane, WA, Betty Pelletier of Beverly Hills, FL, Robert Southard, Dennis Southard, John Southard and Gillam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
