We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2024, at the age of 60, Jay L. Bone of Smithton, Missouri, born in Dodge City, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryce Barton and Anita Sue Bone (Merritt); and his sisters, Janie Leonard, Geneanne Kearney and Jill Merys.

He is survived by: his wife Sherri (DuBose); his children, Jennifer Bone of Smithton and Jason Bone (Katie) of Dodge City; his granddaughters, Jayleigha, Jazaleigh, JayLynn Sue, Jaynie and Joyce; his brother Joel Bone (Lori) of Dodge City; and his brother-in-law Roy Wilson of Smithton.

Memorial contributions may be given for his grandchildren's future education, with checks made payable to Sherri Bone.
