He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Edward and Ruth Mary Bowers (Thomas). He is survived by: his son Sean Smiley; and his siblings, Terri Grider (Sam Isamu) of Joplin, Mark Bowers of Sacramento and Larissa Priebe. He is also survived by numerous family members, friends and neighbors.
