As Shirley Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Shaffer and Josephine Bryson Shaffer; her husband Vernon L. Haynes; her daughter Luana Miller; and her siblings, John Shaffer, Sam Shaffer and Janice Samuels.
She is survived by: her daughter Wilma Miller of Slater. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Home of Abbey & Brae Smith (26454 Bluebird Trl, Marshall, MO 65340).
