He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Burks and Catherine Kruger Burks; and his siblings, Virginia Ann Burks, Dorothy Durham, Marsha Heard, Bill Burks and Donnie Burks.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Arms (Mike) of Slater, Ashley Burks of Slater and Aston Burks (Stacey) of Independence, MO; and his grandchildren, Kolton, Brayden, Nevaeh, Aiden, Kanani, Eli and Laura. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
