He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Guy F. "Bucky" Hays, Jr. and Betty G. Thompson Hays; his wife Debbie Pycke; his daughters, Deanna Giger of Slater and Alisha McGary of Slater; his grandson Gabriel White; and his brothers, Rick Hays (Connie) of Slater and Scott Hays. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
