The passing of Erdell C. Hemeyer of Slater, Missouri leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 97. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Hemeyer and Freda Moeller Hemeyer; his granddaughter Etty Rose Kays; and his siblings, Roy Hemeyer and Goldie Edelblute.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Hemeyer (Margaret) of Lillington, Carl Hemeyer (Jan) of Slater, Clay Hemeyer (Darla) of Slater, Mark Hemeyer of Marshall and Judy Kays (Ed) of Marshall. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (308 W Maple St, Slater, MO 65349). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Slater City Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Big Bend Retreat in care of Weiker Funeral Home.
