She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Wayne Ramey and Edna Mae Taylor Ramey; her husband James E. Sample; her granddaughter Jamie Tabor; and her sisters, Wanda Benedict, Juanita Tobin, Vivian Wiley and Norma Ramey.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Marci Gari of Slater, Sheila Morgan of Micanopy and Angie Sample of Moberly; and her brother William "Bill" Ramey (Joyce) of Miami. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church in care of Weiker Funeral Home.
