We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2019, at the age of 75, Dessie R. Smith (Slater, Missouri), born in New Albany, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Folsom and Dezzie Smith Folsom; her husband William Henry Smith; and her daughter Kimberly Ann Smith. She is survived by: her children, Fabeion L. Folsom of Kansas City, Albert Robinson of Slater, William H. Smith, Jr. of Los Angeles and Ethel Robinson of Slater; and her siblings, Dr. Charlie C. Folsom of Memphis, Tennessee and Dezzie L. Jackson of Oak Park, Illinois. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
