Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver Skaggs and Letha Skaggs (Stevens); and her brother Curt Skaggs. She is survived by: her husband John Haggett; her son Brad Haggett (Pam) of Poplar Bluff; her sisters, Marjorie Mize (James) of Poplar Bluff and Veda Robinson (Dwain) of Wappapello; her sister-in-law Betty Skaggs of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Jessica Haggett of Poplar Bluff and Lauren Tucker (Tyler) of Dexter; and her adoptive father Lester (Sherry Ruble). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
