He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nichols and Eileen E. Nichols; and his sister Carol Nichols Cameron. He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bobby" Nichols (Teri), Cynthia "Cindy" Nichols and Alison Aholt (Tyler); his grandchildren, Ashley, Brooke, Cole, Piper, Nolan and Walker; and his sister Diane Kemp (Randy).
