He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edward and Bernice Bohannon Barnes; and his sister Tressie Drew. He is survived by: his wife Mary Waldman; his children, Heather Sapp (Keith) of Sikeston, MO, Nick Barnes of Sikeston, MO and Chris Barnes (Staci) of Sikeston, MO; his brothers, Donnie Barnes (Marilyn) of Sikeston, MO and Paul Barnes Jr. of Canalou, MO; his grandchildren, John of Sikeston, MO., Ben of Sikeston, MO., Hailey Barnes of Sikeston, MO. and Kari Sapp of Sikeston, MO.; and also Kay Seiler (John) of Sikeston, MO.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ponder Funeral Home (1120 N Main St, Sikeston, MO 63801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery West Murray.
