He was predeceased by: his brother Christopher Lee Haynes; his grandparents, Leroy, Cora Dykes, J. D. and Virginia Sherrod; his stepmother Connie Sherrod; his nephew Riley Wheat; and his close friend Valerie Estes.
He is survived by: his parents, Charles Eddy Sherrod and Sondra Lee Dykes-Haynes; his son Ryder Lee Estes; his siblings, Dallas Sherrod (Sarah), Jennifer Jayne (Joe Smith) and Sarah Wheat (Duke); his stepsister Jackie Sherrod; his nieces and nephews, Ryan Brannigan, Owen Wheat, Gage Taylor, Jaden Liggett, Madeline Sherrod, Sammie Brannigan, Lainey Sherrod and Abbie Wheat; and his extended family, Bill Estes and Karen Dockins.
