With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Ann DeField Malone of Sikeston, Missouri, born in East Prairie, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Webb Kenneth DeField and Roxie Lee Majors DeField; her sister Peggy Joyce DeField Sadler; and her grandson Benny Lefler. She is survived by: her significant other Edwin J. "Buddy" Malone; her children, Judy Armstrong (Jim) of Sikeston, Steve Malone (Marian) of Sikeston and Karen Silverthorn (Gary) of Sikeston; her grandchildren, Carly, Sara, Jimmy, Elizabeth, Fleming and Paige; and her great grandchildren, Gwyneth, Joseph, Victoria, Wyatt, Molly, Maggie, Anna Kate, Witton and Roxie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews she loved dearly as well as cousins.
In lieu of flowers, plants and gift items, the family kindly requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, First United Methodist Church of Sikeston or to the YMCA of Sikeston.
