She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bacon and Lillian Wiliford-Bacon; and her husband William Howard Hampton Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Danny Hampton (Megan) of Sikeston, MO, David Hampton (Michelle) of Sikeston, MO, Bill Hampton (Denise) of Oklahoma City, OK and Cathy Irwin (Mike) of Norman, OK; and her sisters, Nancy Mabry of St. Louis, MO and Shirley Dennis of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ponder Funeral Home (1120 N Main St, Sikeston, MO 63801). A rosary will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:20 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (245 W Front St, Sikeston, MO 63801). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (17357 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, MO 63825).
